Fifth year hunting at Dakota Prairie Lodge. Birds are wild, guides are great, and staff and accommodations make one feel at home. Toni is great! Hesitant to recommend, only because we want to keep this place all to ourselves!

Just wrapped up an amazing pheasant hunting trip at Dakota Prairie Lodge with three buddies, two of them on their first-ever pheasant hunt, and they’re both hooked now. The lodge was beautiful, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was outstanding. Huge shout-out to our guide Brett and his awesome dogs, they were phenomenal. We limited out both days. Can’t recommend this place enough. We’ll definitely be back!

We went to Dakota Prairie Lodge in early December, 4 of us, I had never hunted Pheasant before, nor had one of my buddies and our two other friends were very experienced. I can't wait to do it again! It was AWESOME! Our guide Brett was incredibly knowledgeable, funny, helpful and his dogs were terrific. Our buddy brought 2 of his pups and they worked great with Brett's dogs too and learned a ton! We all shot our limit both days, Brett knew where to go and it was action packed! Breakfasts were terrific, lunches provided when we were in the field were great and dinners were amazing! The staff was terrific! Accommodations were perfect, the bar was always open, plenty of games, poker, TV's for Monday night football, pool tables, a lot of fun! Highly recommend!

Great place and great people. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The lodge setup was awesome, clean, fully stocked and good food. Toni and her team take great care of the guests. Hunts were a blast and the guides and dogs made sure there was plenty of action. As long as we did our part, we limited out in no time. Highly recommend!

The owner and staff made me feel like family. The lodge was beyond my expectations. We were taken to a new location several times to maintain a high level of action and guided through every aspect of the hunt. Food was wonderful!

What a great experience! The lodge was clean, comfortable, and always fully stocked. Toni and everyone there are fantastic—very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help while still giving you your space to relax. The food was excellent, and the guides were top-notch. Their hunting dogs were incredible to watch and made the whole experience even better. The game room and five-stand added a lot of fun during downtime, and evenings around the fire pit were the perfect way to wrap up each day. Overall, a truly great place with great people. Highly recommend for anyone looking for an unforgettable pheasant hunt!
